Andrew Low led the 18 strong Benfleet Running Club team home at the Witham Boxing Day 5. Low 17th overall crossed the line in 0:30:01.48 ahead of team mate Tim Tomlins, 0:32:17.77. It was a close run race between Tomlins and Brian Venton who crossed the line in 0:32:24.62. Youngster Adam Chapman put in an excellent performance with a time of 0:32:56.74. Steve Wise was the next Red and White over the line in 0:37:33.09 just ahead of the first Benfleet lady Isla Sinclair, 0:38:34.55. Graham Douglass put in a personal best time of 0:39:03.49. Continuing the personal bests Simon Davis beat his 2015 Witham 5 time by a massive 14 minutes, 10 seconds with a time of 0:40:09.61
