Brighton Marathon
Last Sunday’s scorching weather proved no deterrent for Benfleet Running Club at the Brighton Marathon. Michael Valbonesi was the first club member back in 3:02:12. Second runner home was Jack Hodges in a sub-four-hour time of 3:58:46. Sean Allison secured an 8 second PB of 4:02:57. Next to finish was Mark Cowan in 4:12:03, followed by Debbie Robertson (4:42:21) and Jo Dyson (5:07:30).
Paris Marathon
Husband and wife Paul and Ann Reed had a fitting finish at the Paris marathon, crossing the line together in 5:02:26.
Jabulani Challenge
Graham Booty traversed the rocky terrain of Ku-ring-gai national park in Australia for the Jabulani Challenge, securing a time of 5:03:09 in the 45k race.
