Crown to Crown 5k
Benfleet Running Club had a solid turnout at the Crown to Crown 5k. Andy Low was the first club member back, securing a place in the top 5 with a time of 17:50. Trailing behind in 10th position was Terry Spooner with a time of 18:18. Clipping his heels was Chris Wayman in 18:20. Next BRC member home was Eddy Cooper in 18:34. Alan Clark, Sinead Clark and Archie Connors crossed the line in 20:23, 20:40, 20:50 respectively. Other members to qualify were Ian Pyke (21:52), Abbi-May Walters (23:43), Mandy Cooper (26:28), Laura Williams (27:39), Annette Johnson (27:44) and Anthony Eden (27:55).

Sean Allison achieved an 8 minute PB of 1:42:05 at the Victoria Park Half Marathon.
