Saturday saw Graham Booty, Mandy Cooper and Michelle Rogers tackle the Paras 10. This race in it’s 6th year , is a testing 10 mile route with challenging obstacles and streams. Graham Booty made it more difficult for himself by wearing full combat attire , boots and a 35lb Bergen, yet still managed to finish in a time of 1.25.04 and 5th overall, followed by Mandy with an amazing time of 1.38.29 and Michelle Rogers in 2.07.22.Well done to you all on what looked like a 10 mile grueling race

Next was the Great Baddow 10, Road Race, this race saw the following runners tackle the 10 mile undulating route and flew the red and white flag with pride .

Benfleet were also represented at the Hackney Half by Paul Daly and Ciaran Doherty who both managed superb runs.

George Tasker completed a Half Ironman (70.3) on Sunday too. Despite a crash on his bike and having to put the chain back on, he managed to finish the course in Nottingham, with a PB and a very respectable time of 4.59.44.
