Halstead Marathon/Essex championships
Benfleet Running Club member Andy Low gave a tour de force performance at the Halstead and Essex County Marathon Championships last Sunday. Fresh off the back of London Marathon, Low carried on his sub-three-hour streak by winning the male Vet 45 category in 2:46:23, finishing in 6th place overall. Breaching the four-hour boundary was Lee Grumbell in 3:45:20, followed by Paul and Anne Reed in 4:54:47 and 4:54:48 respectively.

Sean Allison tackled the Olympic Park 10k in 47:32.
